Quality for Teens (Q4T): A Quality Improvement Package for Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Care

April 23 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm CDT

Access to quality sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, inclusive of contraceptive and STI services, plays an important role in supporting the health and well-being of adolescents and in promoting health equity. However, there are missed opportunities, especially in primary care settings, to provide recommended clinical services in a manner that is accessible and comprehensible to adolescents. Q4T: A Quality Improvement Package for Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Care was made to identify actionable strategies to fill this gap in adolescent SRH care. Learn more about Drop In Learning Sessions (DIALS).

Learning Objectives
1. List the main components of the Q4T resource/toolkit.
2. Describe the development of the resource, including research and best practices data.
3. Identify strategies for using the resource to improve quality, equity, and access to ASRH services.
4. Discuss client-led counseling and education approaches for adolescents seeking SRH information and services.
