Our speakers will provide background information and research about this topic, as well as highlight updated guidelines from the CDC. 1. Understand updates to the recent 2024 revision of the U.S. Selected Practice Recommendations with respect to contraceptive decision-making and medications for IUD provision.
2. Discuss ways to manage patient discomfort using both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions from a recently published best practices manuscript.
