Join this DIALS to learn more about the work of the National Clinical Consultation Center (NCCC)’s PrEPLine, a provider-facing HIV PrEP hotline. The PrEPLine provides real-time, evidence-informed medical decision-making support to healthcare providers nationally. This hotline helps clinicians navigate HIV prevention strategies, including the initiation and management of PrEP, with a focus on ensuring equitable access to care. As a part of the AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) Program, NCCC and the PrEPLine are federally funded by HRSA; NCCC also receives supplemental support from CDC. NCCC’s team will also share information on other free resources for provider training and education (including the National PrEP Curriculum).
This panel-style DIALS will focus on HIV screening and HIV prevention modalities, highlighting HIV PrEP management options and clinical approaches demonstrated through case studies. Come prepared with your questions about HIV prevention and PrEP management!
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the work of the NCCC and the value of the PrEPLine.
2. Discuss the latest guidelines for PrEP management.
3. Identify specific benefits of, and opportunities for, integrating HIV prevention in Title X practices.
